With a mating connector, you can neatly and safely connect a switch in your truck to the wiring harness without having to solder. It is simply the counterpart to the plug on the switch. Click it into place, connect the wiring, and you're done!

The mating connectors are supplied with corresponding metal terminals (contact pins). These are crimped onto the power wires and then clicked into the mating connector. The mating connector can then be inserted into the back of the switch. This establishes a secure connection between the switch and the power wires.
